Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II: The End of Harry Potter

In less than 24hrs the final chapter of the Harry Potter series is going to hit the big screen. I'm still finding it hard to believe that it’s actually over; after what 10 years?? It’s kind of a bittersweet moment. Most Harry Potter fan/fanatics are dying to see this Deathly Hallows part II, however majority of them are sad that is the final movie. Still coming to terms with the fact that next year July/November, there isn't going to be a new Harry Potter movie release. But all good things do have to come to an end I guess.

If you aren't aware by now I'm a huge Harry potter fan but I'm not one of those fanatics who claim harry potter is EVERYTHING to them or one of those who camped out 4 WHOLE days at Trafalgar Square...I do rate those folks though, the weather in London was not great those few days before. People who aren't fans of HP do need to understand where the fans are coming from when they got out of the way like they did at the premier. It’s because we've been following it and it’s been part of our lives for soo many years now its really like the end of part of our childhood( in the case of younger generation) or part of our youth(for the older fans).

I also get why some of the cast -although saddened be the end of the series- are also happy that its ending. I doubt the young cast would want to go through their entire career being referred to as the Harry Potter characters. Some of them have already begun making a name outside of Harry potter. Daniel Radcilffe is currently on Broadway, playing MR. Finch in the musical £How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying£. Emma Watson's cut her hair-distancing herself a bit for her Hermione character-, is now the face of Burberry and let's not forget is attending Brown University. Rupert Grint's already been doing other stuff outside of the Potter world(one of my favourites being the film “Cherrybomb”. Tom Felton's no longer a beach blonde and he has also been working other projects such as "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and "From the Rough".

On the brighter side the great J.K. Rowling is creating a website where she plans on releasing details that weren't released in the book. She’s also going to go more in depth, talking about the backgrounds of the not so main characters. The web address is www.pottermore.com for those interested.

So now I say goodbye to the wonderful world of Harry Potter and wish luck to the Harry Potter Crew(not that they really need it :/ ) and maybe, just maybe Jo might just decide to mess around with the magical world a bit more in the future. Thank you for making my childhood that little bit more special.

Random June 29th Post :/

Hey all *waves*. It 1 in the morning and I'm up. Why? Cause my brother gave me his key and ducked out so now I have to wait up for the baka to come back so i can open up the door; thought why not do a random post. Let see now, what have I been up to lately?? Still job hunting...got an interview set up, finally!! It s group interview though =/ Can't say i feel too confident about it, gonna try though.I was surprised when I got the call, not even gonna lie, cuz I had just applied for the postion what 15mins before. I was so psyched, then I realized I have nothing to wear...ahh the joys of life. I eventually had to go out to buy something....haha the amount of money I now have to my name is re-donk-u-lous (not in a good way). Basically, I need this job -_-. Wish me luck..

It was my cousins birthday yesterday. **Woo Hoo, Go Sam!!** I was asked to make him a cake. It wasnt as brilliant as the last one I did..nowhere near as good, but people actually think it was great. I personally think it was just okay (seeing that I was rushed and had my nan on my back), but then again Im kind of a perfectionist when it comes to stuff like that.

Thats all thats been up really. I know, my life is so exciting right, you're just filled with 

jealousy (sarcasm people, gosh!). I've left the house 3 times I believe in the past 2 weeks, I lost weight I can't afford to lose, I had somebody I'm quiet close to not speak to me for 3 whole weeks(kinda got to me, but its all good now, I hope) and I got a tan, kind of. Thats it, well this concludes my random post... oh yeah..

May 21st: Another Doomsday spoof??

For the longest while now people have been going on about the world ending. But wasn't the world already supposed to end?! March 10th 1982, January 1st 2000, June 6 2006, and now May 21st. And lets not forget about the Dooms Day dates: October 21st 2011and December 21st 2012. Really people, you guys need to stop doing this...its getting a bit old. How stupid are you gonna feel if tomorrow comes and goes like any other day. 

So I was kind of curious as to why the world was gonna end this time, did a bit of research what I came across was
-the comet  Elenin and asteroid Apophis WAS supposed to collide with Earth sometime between 2011 and 2012, bringing about doomsday. But now its being said that thats not going to happen and the imgae that brought about this whole fiasco was not an actual image of comet Elenin.

-a preacher form California, Harold Camping, predicts the second coming of Christ. And he's going about doing it in a big way to!! He speaks t his 'followers' via  the Family Radio Network, which by the way is funded by his listeners and is valued at approximately $120million! Let me just say, 'Dude, really?' The network owns 66 stations in America alone and has launched a high profile advertising campaign trying to inform people about 'the end'. He even got down and dirty with the details and is confident that the world will end.
" In other words, when we get to May 21 on the calendar in any city or country in the world, and the clock says about — this is based on other verses in the Bible — when the clock says about 6 p.m., there’s going to be this tremendous earthquake that’s going to make the last earthquake in Japan seem like nothing in comparison. And the whole world will be alerted that Judgment Day has begun. And then it will follow the sun around for 24 hours. As each area of the world gets to that point of 6 p.m. on May 21, then it will happen there, and until it happens, the rest of the world will be standing far off and witnessing the horrible thing that is happening."

That’s what i found.

As expected people, worldwide, took the piss! From Trending Topics like 'Zombie Apocalypse' on twitter to Survival guides. Few examples I came across:

Not trying to be a weirdo or anything, but I think a zombie apocalypse would be 'so kewll', lol, my opinion. I mean, come on, it would be a pretty interesting way to go out. No? 

Seriously though, I really think that these overly religious nutcases need to calm down, if it does happen then oh well..good bye cruel world; but I don't think its worth spending millions of dollars on when there are way bigger issues that need our attention. Starving people, medical research, saving animals...hello?!! Is this mic on??! The people who did donate will(or should I use the word 'should' here?) feel like such __(use your creativity to fill in the blanks) when we roll into May 22nd.

Bet most people take it as a excuse to go out and party hard tonight, can't say I'd blame them, If you're gonna go out, might as well enjoy your last few hours. Or maybe I can do some really stupid sh*t and use the excuse 'I thought the world was gonna end' to get out of trouble. Hmm..

Well that my view on that, see you guys May 22nd...or not :/

Urghh!

Whats good peeps? Haven't been up to much lately except trying to get this HTML, CSS and Javascript thing down. At least thats been keeping me busy. No luck finding a job yet. Finding a course I'm remotely interested in and can afford is another pain in my neck! Life can be such a b*%@!. Gosh!! Feeling like I'm slowly wasting away. Tresha put a smile on my face when I told her I was wasting away, said something along the lines of at least its slowly, don't want you totally disintegrating on me. =] Love that woman. The only time I've felt like myself in the past few week is when I spent time with the cousins and skyping with Shaz and Jak Jak....and my sister-by-name(lol) just posted on my wall...made me smile. Then theres the new VFK BBM group chat which is very entertaining(tho you guys can get rather annoying). Reason I think I'm down really is because summers coming up and it like EVERYONE(who matters to me anyway) is going home, while I'm gonna be stuck up here doing God knows what!! :( Then theres Wavz who's soo far away :( DOesn't really help my mood knowing that tuition fees are gonna sky rocket next year, I hate this world soo much some time, Just wanna go COD crazy sometimes....noo, I wouldn't do that tho...unless faced with some man-killing zombies :D. At least life would be a bit interesting then xD
Oh and I don't know if you noticed the anime chick up there^. You'd be pretty special not to, lol. I've actually started watching anime again...that bored. No I have nothing against anime, I love it actually, but I only really start watching it when I have nothing else to keep me occupied.

End Product

I molded Mario a few hours ago & I added one Koopa Troopa(for those who don't know what that is its the turtle thingys in the game), so now I'm done; no more adding or removing. The only thing left to do is cut into and eat that cake...cant wait. Quick upload of the final product:

My Birthday's coming up in a bit(2 days to be exact) :D. Gonna be 20..gosh, I'm old! Anyway, wanted to do something special for my 20th, but seeing that I really don't have much money to spend at the moment, my birthday's in the middle of the week(-_-') so most likely everyone will be busy and theres the fact that most of my friends reside outside the UK; I just thought I make this super duper cake(my opinion xD). I was going for a Super Mario theme, and yes, I do realize the man of the hour(Mario, jeeze man keep up!!) is missing...just haven't done him yet. You guy are probably wondering why Super Mario, no need to read into it, it's just my favourite game...just ask Ash, Levi and Pierre :D. Anyway guys here's my cake...let me know what you think. Do keep in mind though that this is my first true attempt at cake decorating :) && one last thing...I'll try to post a picture of Mario when he's complete...if I complete him..

SkullCandys: To Buy.....or Not to Buy

Last year I was practically begging people I know to buy me Skullcandy headphones..begging! Waited so long that I ordered myself a pair, treating myself to Christmas  present. Ordered a pair of Hesh headphones...didn't get them till the week after Christmas though. I was super happy, loved them to bits. In addition to theses my bro got me a pair of Lowriders for Christmas. I was in Skullcandy Heaven...until February anyway.. 

Now I'd understand them falling apart if I was a careless individual who just throws her stuff aside after using them, but I took care of those bloody headphones..they were my babies!!

 I really dont get how one week the Lowriders just fell apart and the Hesh headphones broke when I was taking it off from round my neck...really Skullcandy...really??!! And during the same week!! The same week!! Still can't get over that bit.

Picked up the Lowriders one morning and one side stayed on the desk top...seriously, the half just stayed there. Half the hinges in the Lowriders broke...  There's nothing I can   do with them now, tried sticking them but they just kept falling apart. 

Now the Hesh headphones....ahh yes, my pride and joy, or so I thought. Was removing them from round my neck like I usually do when it went snap, a tiny screw popped out and all. Don't know why but these had a bit on them to allow it to bend to a certain degree...why out something like that in that area?? I mean come on Im' no designer/technician or whatever they're called but even I would knot not to put that bit there; its bad enough that it has to support the weight of the onear bit. Why?! Bloody Skullcandys! Forget them..

I'm looking to score me a pair of WeSCs for my Birthday. Skullcandys: To buy or not to buy..I vote NOT. Been through Three pairs, I think I've learnt my lesson. Expected so much more from Skullcandy..or maybe I just had some really shit luck in February :/
